Quality Management

Quality care is our top priority. Through data collection, measurement, network management, and analysis, opportunities for improvement in care and services are regularly identified and addressed. Data collected for quality improvement activities are frequently related to key indicators of quality that include high-risk diagnoses or services to special populations, or access to care. Carelon’s quality improvement team ensures that the data collected to assess performance and/or outcomes are valid, reliable, and comparable over time.

Review the most up-to-date quality assurance documents that outline reports and findings, quality standards and best practices, as well as continuous improvement strategies. These resources will help you maintain high standards of care and ensure compliance with Medicaid requirements.

Provider Analytics and Reporting (PAR) Program

What is PAR?

Carelon’s Provider Analytics and Reporting Program is designed to empower clinical leaders and care teams with timely, actionable insights that support high quality, patient‑centered care. Through standardized reporting, performance analytics, and outcome tracking, the program strengthens transparency, promotes continuous improvement, and supports evidence‑based decision‑making across behavioral health services.

By translating complex clinical and operational data into meaningful insights, the program helps providers:

  • Monitor quality, safety, and outcomes of care
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Support regulatory, accreditation, and internal reporting needs
  • Enhance collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

The PAR program will start with a review of inpatient psychiatric providers for adult and youth populations, ensuring analytics are clinically meaningful, relevant to care delivery, and aligned with best practices.
